Oreo Balls

I’m going to keep this post completely appropriate and G-rated. Ok, maybe PG.

I wish there was another name for ’em. I suppose they could be called oreo spheres, or oreo truffles or rounded oreo things.

But let’s be serious: they’re balls of oreo. Oreo balls.

Put a plate of these on the table at the Walbridge residence and I puh-ro-mise they will disappear. I ate eight of them during the Bachelor on Monday. I couldn’t stop. They’re unstoppable!

oreo cookies. cream cheese. white chocolate. um, i love you?

Oreo Balls from Morgan, a friend of mine

1 package oreo cookies
8 oz cream cheese, softened
2 blocks white chocolate

Using a food processor (or in a plastic bag,) crush oreo cookies well. In a stand mixer (or in a bowl with your hands,) mix oreo crumbs with cream cheese until well-blended. Using your hands, form oreo mixture into 1-inch balls. Place on wax paper and freeze for 45 minutes. Melt chocolate in bowl as directed and dip oreo balls into chocolate using a toothpick or two forks. Drizzle with dark chocolate if desired!
